Online Courses & Workshops
Here at Virtual Business Marketing, we’re passionate about business and education, so when Michelle Ulrich had the first opportunity to become involved in the California Business Education Association (CBEA), she was very excited to say the least. She became involved not only in the California chapter, but also gave presentations to the national and international chapters. In addition, Michelle jumped at the opportunity to become involved with the Business Education Statewide Advisory Committee (BESAC) and together with her colleagues developed curriculum that is still being taught on many college campuses.
Some of you may wonder what the difference between a course and a workshop, it’s pretty simple. While VBM’s courses are not taught at a public institution where you’d receive a certificate or diploma, you will still gain knowledge you will use in your business, work and/or personal life. Some workshops will have homework, but tend to be smaller, more intensive groups.

About the Instructor
Michelle Ulrich is the President of Virtual Business Marketing specializing as a Digital Marketing and Communications Consultant. Her passion is to help small business owners be seen, be heard and be remembered. She does this by helping clients build an online platform to gain more brand visibility, increase lead generation and retain customers and has done so for over a decade now.
Giving back to her peers and community is something Michelle has also been well known for. She was also the founder and Executive Director of the Social Marketing Rx, your prescription for marketing success and best practices, which offered Sacramento folks opportunities to meet, mingle and learn about the latest tips and trends in social media.
Having worked for Practice Pay Solutions (now DirectPay) as a Shopping Cart Trainer and also as a Learning Management System National Training Director, Michelle gained a reputation for being an outstanding instructor, not only for her delivery, but also for her attention to detail and patience in guiding students through the training modules.
Michelle has been an instructor at Shasta College located in Redding, CA and has been a guest lecturer at Sierra College, as well. She has consulted with educators worldwide assisting and creating Virtual Office Professional (VOP) programs.
As an instructor for community colleges and private industry, Michelle has extensive experience in guiding students through complex programs and making them easy to understand.
As a past member of the International Virtual Assistant’s Association (IVAA), Michelle understands the value of peer communities. In addition, Michelle served as the Publicity Chair for the California Business Education Association (CBEA) and was an active member of the Business Education Statewide Advisory Committee (BESAC).
After joining BESAC, Michelle quickly stepped up from being a member at large to a Steering Committee member. She also served as a sub-committee chairperson for a 3-year grant project whereby she and her fellow committee members assisted in the development and implementation of a 27-unit Virtual Office Professional (VOP) curriculum for California Community Colleges.
